What Clients Say

Cadwyn - Chris O'Meara, Chief Executive and Iwan Jones, Chair

"David has worked with us several times to help inform and improve our governance, including facilitating strategic planning events and carrying out a stake holder survey. He is knowledgeable about the sector, our stakeholders and the context in which we work. These factors combined with his ability to challenge constructively make him an outstanding facilitator and he has helped us to tackle some difficult challenges and make progress." (February 2014)

Wales & West Housing - Anne Hinchey, Chief Executive

"We commissioned Cyngor Da to carry out a strategic Local Authority stakeholder survey for us. This involved working with us to design the survey, making sure that it was appropriate in our context. This was very important as we did not want an off the shelf survey but one that reflected our specific requirements, geographical spread and priorities. David was clearly experienced in dealing with a variety of organisations and used that experience to our benefit. The resultant survey reflected both us as an organisation and the needs of our LA partners. As our survey was based on face to face interviews with the LA contact persons, it was critical that they be carried out in a personable manner whilst still eliciting the necessary information. Feedback from our LA partners has been that David achieved this balance very well. The end result was a comprehensive, well written report covering all the issues and topics we asked for and giving us some great information on what our partners thought of us. The results will now feed into our ongoing self-assessment work. We found David very easy to work with, very knowledgeable and very flexible. Our partners are across the whole of Wales and meeting times and dates moved on a regular basis. David understood the nature of the work and moved his commitments to fit in with the requirements of the LAs. We will happily work with David again. Oh and his costs were very reasonable too – win–win!" (July 2013)

Pembrokeshire Housing - Peter Maggs, Chief Executive

“David recently undertook a Stakeholder survey for us. He advised on the design of the survey, undertook it by a mix of telephone & face to face interviews and provided us with a really useful report and analysis. The project was completed on time and on budget - a professional service well delivered.” (July 2014)

Charter Housing - Kathryn Edwards, Corporate Director

“We asked David to help us get some feedback from our key partners, and his help in designing the process to go about that was invaluable. He has loads of experience of getting the best out of conversations with other organisations, and he gave lots of useful suggestions about the right questions to ask, but we always felt we were able to ‘do our own thing’, his approach is really flexible. David is very easy to get along with, and to have open conversations with. He does what he says he will do and keeps you up to date about how he’s getting on whilst he’s doing it. He did a great job of engaging with our key contacts and got a 100% response rate, which is pretty good going!” (April 2015)
